Military Assistance Mission provides relief to
struggling military families who are having difficulty
paying for bills such as




Car payments

Car insurance



All current Arizona military E-5 and below may be eligible for this
one time assistance through MAM as well as purple heart recipients post 9/11
regardless of rank. This assistance is in the form of grants for overdue bills.

We currently have limited funding for reservists and
drilling national Guard members E-5 and below.

*Effective beginning May 15, 2019, the rank E-6 will no longer
qualify for MAM’s financial assistance program.

Current service members must provide a current LES, Military ID,
and most recent orders with a letterhead to qualify for assistance.
You must be stationed in Arizona and reside in Arizona to qualify for assistance.

Purple Heart recipients must provide last DD214, Purple Heart Certificate, and One page
VA rating to qualify for assistance. In order to process an application all information
must be present including copies of bills and military documents.

Applications will be processed during business hours
(Tuesday-Friday: 8 AM- 3PM). All Applications submitted outside normal
business hours will be processed immediately on MAM’s next business day.

GIGG application only applies: If you are transitioning service member or veteran that
is starting school right after service and have not yet received funds from your Post 9/11 GI Bill
or GI Bill, please view our GIGG application: click here
